Everything went fine at our appointment today. Dr. Lott joked about not seeing me in the Labor & Delivery area this weekend as Tropical Depression Fay descended upon MS. The dramatic change in barometric pressure made several women go into labor so he had a busy weekend.
He did check for dilation and there was ZERO. So ... we will wait for Mary Audrey to decide when she is coming into this world. The only discomfort I have is the lack of sleep and her constant feet pushing into my ribs. Dr. Lott was very pleased with her constant activity which is a sign of a very healthy baby. Also, Dr. Lott said I could take a small dosage of Benadryl so I could get some sleep. He said the small dosage wouldn't hurt Mary Audrey so I am all about taking some tonight! We have officially moved on to weekly appointments now so we will return next week to see if my body has decided to get ready for Mary Audrey's arrival yet.

Nursery ... Almost Ready!
Here are a few pictures from our work in the nursery this weekend. John and I worked to get things organized and hung up. We plan to get a few more items and hang a few more things but all in all, we are ready. We even put her carseat in the car and hung her car mirror. We are also planning to buy stock in Energizer batteries!!! I guess I need to start buying a pack of batteries everytime I visit Wal-Mart now.
My colleague and friend, Amy, gave me the "Mary Audrey" letters to put on her wall. Aren't they gorgeous?
John sitting in the new glider. It is so comfortable ... I know we will spend many hours in it very soon!
Her bedding came in! It looks so pretty ... I love it.
Will she ever wear all of those clothes????
Another colleague and friend, Kim, painted these two beautiful paintings. She is so talented and they are perfect for her room!
Her dresser/changing table combo. I have to wash her changing pad coverings. Thank you to her Mimi for getting that for her.
Here is her toy chest with her two monogrammed diaper bags ...
We love her 4-H hat. It is so cute.

Decoration used at the RCU Shower. I hung it on her nursery door for now and I think I may take it to the hospital and put it on our door there too!

Aug 11 Drs Appt Update
No real news to report. Everything is fine and Mary Audrey's heartbeat was good, again. I gained 3 lbs ... I hate those afternoon appointments because they distort my true weight gain ... but anyways, that adds up to a total weight gain of 13 lbs now. Dr. Lott said I should feel 10 movements (kicks, roll-overs, etc.) by Mary Audrey a day. I told him she is knocking that out of the park because she constantly moves. He said he will check for dilation at our next appointment and then I will begin my weekly visits. So ... we will see!
John is in Tupelo this week at a workshop so he is going to pick up the bedding that was being sewn for her room. I can't wait to see the end product and put it in new crib. I will take pictures and post them this weekend.
Next Appointment: August 25

The Wildlife Extravanganza!
Here is a picture from last weekend's wildlife extravanganza in Jackson. John had a booth for the 4-H Shooting Sports club and so we got to "man" the booth the entire weekend. There were hundreds of vendors there selling everything you can think of to do with hunting and other things. I had soooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun! (he he -- joke joke) ;)
John thinks this is a good picture but I disagree. Anyways ... I am posting it just so yall can see how much I have "grown!"
