Baby Biscuit

Mrs. Sarah (Mammy) made Mary Audrey her first baby biscuit. She is definately a healthy eater but biscuits are a few months down the road! LOL!!

Sleeping beauty

Mary Audrey and I were catching some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's and John captured the moment. He said he thought it was sweet!!

It's Christmas time and Mary Audrey is getting in the spirit. I thought she looked so pretty in her Christmas sleep and play outfit.

Christmas 2008

Mary Audrey took her first ride in her Daddy's truck today to help cut down our Christmas tree. Afterwards, she and her daddy took a nap in the chair and I captured the moment. Her hands are just precious!

First Day at Church

John and I were finally able to get back to church last weekend. We had to wait until Mary Audrey received her shots before going back. I never realized how much I need to be in church each week until I'm not there. John and I felt so lost and out of place. It was nice to be back in a familiar place and with friends again.

Mary Audrey did great in the nursery and so did her mom! She looked mighty pretty with her dress on! See for yourself.

Sitting Up

Mary Audrey does enjoy sitting up now and looking around. She especially enjoys watching our new 42" flat screen HD TV. We got HD cable too and the picture is AWESOME! Just in time for Bowl season! :)

Mary Audrey had her 2-month check-up with Dr. Shirley the week of thanksgiving. During her visit, she received her first round of shots. The shots were definately worse on her parents than they were on her. She did cry a lot during the procedure but no after-shocks with fever or soreness. She weighed 12.2 and was 23.3 in long. We have us a fast growing little "gurl" on our hands!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great 1st thanksgiving with Mary Audrey. She did pretty well with the big crowd and excitement. We went to our traditional feast at Cousin Jerry's (Aunt Sally's daughter). Everything was delicious as always.

Here are a few pics of Mary Audrey on Thanksgiving. She was very festive!

More Smiles than Frowns ...

Mary Audrey is 9-weeks old today. She definately has more smiles than frowns now. She is playing a lot more and "talking" to me and others all the time. I just love being a mom and staying at home, for now. No word on day care yet but we are continuing to pray about it. Hopefully the right place will open soon.

Mary Audrey will get her first round of shots tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov 25. Please pray that goes well and we don't have any major problems.

Bouncey Seat

Mary Audrey is am finally starting to love her bouncey seat which is a wonderful help to me so I can get a few things done around the house. She still has to be asleep before she will go in her swing. One of the pictures below is of her after she woke up one time in her swing. She had a gown on and it had creeped up on her ...

Bad Hair Days

The hair is just out of control sometimes even though I try to keep it tamed! Of course, we still get the same response from people when we are out and about ... "That baby has a head full of hair!"

Bath Time!

Mary Audrey loves bath time. And momma loves her hooded towels ... she looks so cute!

And her daddy loves when she throws her arms ... :)
